Treatment costs in India—understand the estimate before you travel.
Search frequently requested treatments, see what can change the hospital estimate and request a current case-specific quotation through InMedism.
After a hospital reviews the patient’s case, Inmedism® may advocate on the patient’s behalf by requesting, discussing and negotiating the available treatment estimate with the hospital’s appropriate billing, international-patient or administrative team. We may ask the hospital to review the quotation, clarify inclusions and exclusions, and consider any available concession or revised package. The hospital independently decides its pricing, concessions, payment terms and final invoice, and no particular discount or saving can be guaranteed.

Questions patients often ask
These answers provide general coordination information. Questions about diagnosis, risks or treatment require a qualified clinician.
Ask a different question →Why are fixed prices not displayed?+
A responsible estimate depends on diagnosis, procedure scope, hospital, clinician, room category, implant or medicines, expected stay and the records available for review.
Does Inmedism® negotiate treatment costs?+
With the patient’s authorization, Inmedism® may discuss the quotation with the relevant hospital representative, clarify its scope and request consideration of any available concession or revised estimate. The hospital independently controls pricing, concessions and the final invoice, so no reduction can be guaranteed.
Do patients pay Inmedism® for hospital treatment?+
No. Treatment payments are made directly to the hospital or relevant provider according to its official instructions.
Does Inmedism® charge a patient-coordination fee?+
Yes. Any applicable patient-coordination or service fee is disclosed separately before the patient agrees to it. It is separate from the hospital’s treatment quotation and invoice.
Is a preliminary estimate the final bill?+
No. Examination, additional tests, complications, changes in treatment or a longer stay may change the final invoice.
