Why the cost variesNo single figure fits every Deep Brain Stimulation for Parkinson’s Disease case.
Deep brain stimulation (DBS) places electrodes in selected brain targets and connects them to an implanted pulse generator. In appropriately selected Parkinson’s disease, stimulation may improve medication-responsive motor symptoms, fluctuations or tremor; it does not cure the disease and programming continues after surgery.
