Case-specific hospital estimate

Craniotomy Cost in India

Understand what shapes the quotation and request a current written hospital estimate based on the patient’s medical records—not an unsupported website price.

Patient advocacy, not price control

Inmedism® may request and negotiate hospital estimates on a patient’s behalf. Hospitals independently set their prices and decide whether to offer any concession. Inmedism® cannot guarantee a particular quotation, discount or final treatment cost.

Published hospital starting referenceUSD 7,000 onwards

Max Healthcare International currently publishes this starting benchmark for the named treatment. It is that provider’s reference—not an InMedism price, nationwide average, guaranteed package or final quotation.

How to interpret “onwards”

A starting point is not a price range.

  • The reference may assume a standard operation without added procedures or unusually complex anatomy
  • Implants or devices, medicines, blood products, ICU/ward duration, rehabilitation and complication care may have stated limits
  • Another hospital may quote a lower or higher amount
  • Currency conversion and provider pricing may change without notice

Why the cost varies

No single figure fits every Craniotomy case.

Craniotomy temporarily removes a section of skull to access the brain for tumour surgery, vascular treatment, relief of pressure, biopsy or another neurosurgical objective. The operative plan and neurological risk depend primarily on the disease, its location and nearby critical brain functions.

  • Diagnosis, location and operative complexity
  • Navigation, mapping, monitoring and pathology requirements
  • ICU and ward duration
  • Rehabilitation and additional oncological treatment
  • Hospital, treating team, room category and city
  • Complications or changes required after examination

Important financial boundary

Hospital treatment payment goes directly to the provider.

InMedism facilitates communication and estimate negotiation but does not receive the hospital’s treatment payment through this website.

InMedism coordination fee

InMedism® charges a patient-coordination fee. The applicable service or coordination charge is disclosed separately before the patient agrees to it and is not part of the hospital’s treatment invoice.

Travel and non-clinical services

Travel, visa, accommodation, airport transfer, local transport, meals, interpretation and similar costs are separate unless expressly included in a written quotation. Applicable third-party costs and payment instructions are disclosed separately before the patient confirms those services.

Contextual guidance

Questions patients often ask

These answers provide general coordination information. Questions about diagnosis, risks or treatment require a qualified clinician.

Ask a different question →
What is the exact Craniotomy cost in India?

An exact figure requires hospital review of the current case. Procedure scope, hospital, clinician, room, devices, medicines, expected stay and medical complexity can change the estimate.

Will Inmedism® negotiate with the hospital?

With the patient’s authorization, Inmedism® may discuss the quotation with the relevant hospital representative, seek clarification of its scope and request consideration of any available concession or revised estimate. Any revision remains entirely at the hospital’s discretion.

Is the estimate guaranteed?

No. The hospital controls its estimate and final invoice. Examination, additional tests, complications, treatment changes or a longer stay may change the amount.

Does Inmedism® charge a coordination fee?

Yes. Any Inmedism® service or patient-coordination charge is disclosed separately before the patient confirms the service. It is not part of the hospital’s treatment estimate or invoice, and Inmedism® does not collect the hospital’s treatment payment.

Are travel, accommodation and interpreter costs included in the hospital estimate?

Usually not. Flights, visas, accommodation, airport transfers, local transport, meals, interpretation and similar non-clinical services are separate from the hospital’s treatment invoice unless a written quotation expressly says otherwise. Any applicable third-party cost or Inmedism® coordination charge will be disclosed separately before the patient confirms those services.

Should I select a hospital based only on price?

No. Compare clinical suitability, specialist expertise, proposed scope, safety, follow-up and clearly stated inclusions alongside cost.
