Understand what shapes the quotation and request a current written hospital estimate based on the patient’s medical records—not an unsupported website price.
Inmedism® may request and negotiate hospital estimates on a patient’s behalf. Hospitals independently set their prices and decide whether to offer any concession. Inmedism® cannot guarantee a particular quotation, discount or final treatment cost.
Interpreting online prices
Published Gamma Knife figures are not directly comparable.
Public online amounts may refer to different hospitals, platforms, target counts, imaging, frame or mask methods, session schedules, patient categories, currencies and publication dates.
Inmedism® therefore does not present an unverified national average. Compare current written hospital estimates only when the clinical scope, inclusions, exclusions and payment route are equivalent.
Why the cost varies
No single figure fits every Gamma Knife Stereotactic Radiosurgery case.
Gamma Knife stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) is a highly focused radiation treatment for selected targets inside the skull. Despite its name, it does not use a surgical knife or incision. Multiple beams converge on a precisely planned target while limiting exposure to surrounding tissue. The treating team must decide whether Gamma Knife, another stereotactic platform, open surgery, conventional radiotherapy, systemic treatment or observation is most appropriate.

Questions for the hospital estimate
Does the estimate specify Gamma Knife and the number and size of intracranial targets?
Is the quotation for one session or a staged or fractionated course?
Are frame or mask placement, planning imaging, dosimetry and medical-physics fees included?
Are neurosurgeon, radiation-oncology and routine observation fees included?
Are follow-up imaging, medicines and treatment of delayed effects additional?
Important financial boundary
Hospital treatment payment goes directly to the provider.
InMedism facilitates communication and estimate negotiation but does not receive the hospital’s treatment payment through this website.
InMedism coordination fee
InMedism® charges a patient-coordination fee. The applicable service or coordination charge is disclosed separately before the patient agrees to it and is not part of the hospital’s treatment invoice.
Travel and non-clinical services
Travel, visa, accommodation, airport transfer, local transport, meals, interpretation and similar costs are separate unless expressly included in a written quotation. Applicable third-party costs and payment instructions are disclosed separately before the patient confirms those services.
Cancer Centre, Thorax & Lung Cancer Programme, Head and Neck Cancer Programme, Thoracic Cancer Programme, Breast Cancer Programme, Thyroid Cancer Programme, Advance Urology Cancer Programme, Gastrointestinal (GI) Cancer Programme, Sarcoma and Bone Cancer Programme, Paediatric Cancer Programme, Gynaecologic Cancer Programme, Radiation Oncology
These profiles support radiosurgery discovery. A documented doctor skill does not establish that the doctor currently provides Gamma Knife at every associated hospital, and no individual suitability or outcome is implied.
Relevant hospitals
Hospitals associated with matched radiosurgery specialists
Specialist association and platform availability are separate facts. The label on each card states what the current directory evidence supports.
Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI) in Gurugram is a leading multi-specialty healthcare destination for patients seeking advanced medical treatment in India.
Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi is listed in InMedism’s hospital directory for international patients considering specialist treatment in India.
Matched SRS specialist; Gamma Knife platform not confirmed
Only Fortis Memorial Research Institute is marked as having a currently verified Gamma Knife programme in this section. Other hospitals appear because a matched specialist is listed; current equipment, appointment availability and suitability require direct confirmation.
What is the exact Gamma Knife Stereotactic Radiosurgery cost in India?+
An exact figure requires hospital review of the current case. Procedure scope, hospital, clinician, room, devices, medicines, expected stay and medical complexity can change the estimate.
Will Inmedism® negotiate with the hospital?+
With the patient’s authorization, Inmedism® may discuss the quotation with the relevant hospital representative, seek clarification of its scope and request consideration of any available concession or revised estimate. Any revision remains entirely at the hospital’s discretion.
Is the estimate guaranteed?+
No. The hospital controls its estimate and final invoice. Examination, additional tests, complications, treatment changes or a longer stay may change the amount.
Does Inmedism® charge a coordination fee?+
Yes. Any Inmedism® service or patient-coordination charge is disclosed separately before the patient confirms the service. It is not part of the hospital’s treatment estimate or invoice, and Inmedism® does not collect the hospital’s treatment payment.
Are travel, accommodation and interpreter costs included in the hospital estimate?+
Usually not. Flights, visas, accommodation, airport transfers, local transport, meals, interpretation and similar non-clinical services are separate from the hospital’s treatment invoice unless a written quotation expressly says otherwise. Any applicable third-party cost or Inmedism® coordination charge will be disclosed separately before the patient confirms those services.
Why do published Gamma Knife prices differ so widely?+
Online figures may refer to different hospitals, platforms, target counts, imaging, immobilisation methods, session schedules, patient categories and dates. Compare only current written hospital estimates with equivalent clinical scope and inclusions.
